That is Agas Karthik, the founder of our country’s one of the top Branding and Events Agency. Driven by innovation and with a fiercely passionate team of strategists, designers, storytellers, and creative experts, Agas has sculpted every piece of his company in the creative sector industry, with mindful hard work.

The last issue of India’s Major Art Journal’s cover story captured his journey in a rather eloquent way. His recent award in December 2025,“ Young entrepreneur of the year”, is definitely a well-earned feather in his hat. His story is not one of the rags to riches kind, but of perseverance and goodwill. Born into a middle-class family in Tamil Nadu, Agas was ever keen to nurture his love for live art and creating a vibe. After pursuing education pathways based on his interests and passion, he started out with freelancing projects for small business ventures. Making a success story with a creative venture is rare and difficult in our country, especially at that time he established his company in the year 2020. Despite the financial meltdowns and economic instabilities, the rise of his agency with his mentor Deepak’s guidance is the most inspiring and daring entrepreneurship story, that I have come across. With special abilities to marry pragmatism and happiness, he also consciously practices empathy which is vital for someone high-up in the social ladder and influencing thousands of people across the country.

As someone who enjoys and supports all forms of artistic ventures, Agas is an ardent Arsenal football club fan (a “Gooner” of the hardest kind). Also an admirer of Periyar and his ideologies, I often recall a Periyar quote to describe the kind of person Agas is.

An annual ten million dollar turnover has been maintained by his company, enabling its venture into arts and sports development projects in the society. Back in his hometown of Coimbatore, he is more famous for putting up a platform for promoting performance arts like stand-up gigs and live music shows. Enabled by his company profits and some good-will donations, he is keen on encouraging and promoting fresh talents in the performance industry by creating a space for them to express and develop their art forms. Also notable are his efforts to encourage and educate a passion for football. Primarily, his company represents a local football club with being responsible for its branding and advertising, however, his personal interest in the game has seen the growth of an inclusive environment where about 150 kids from different backgrounds of the society get to enjoy and learn about the game.

Despite having his agency headquarters in Coimbatore, Agas does a lot of travelling nationally and internationally, mostly for work. You talk to him about his travels, he will say, with a dreamy laugh about how he considers himself as the citizen of the universe. In reality, however, he has his favourite spots where he spends time for leisure and relaxation. Visiting his favourite Emirates Stadium to witness his beloved Arsenal to trekking in Western Ghats. Not just that and he is an activist voicing out for the oppressed has made changes in many lives and he says he is gonna do it till his last breath.
